Tungelundbadet has served Thorsø as an open-air summer pool since local volunteers built it in 1972. Its 12.5-by-25-metre swimming basin and shallow 12.5-by-7-metre children's pool are heated to about 28°C, joined by a roughly 20-person spa and a Finnish sauna hut. A small slide, water toys, loungers, shaded pavilions and kiosk give the seasonal venue the feel of a community lido rather than a formal indoor centre.
