Away from major ski-flying weekends, the hall contributes valuable indoor court capacity for local teams and competitions. During World Cup and championship events, it changes character and becomes part of the athlete, sponsor and evening-entertainment infrastructure around the hill. That dual use makes it distinctive, but it also means availability can shift sharply with the Vikersund event calendar.
