Askøyhallen is a sports centre in Kleppestø, Norway, with a long history as a community arena. Askøy's 1971 community hall is entering a new chapter as a youth-oriented space for informal and emerging activities.
Askøyhallen served for more than fifty years as the municipality's principal arena for school, club and community sport. The opening of Askøy Arena in March 2026 shifted most conventional hall activity into the new complex. Rather than being abandoned, the older building is planned for rehabilitation as a Fysakhall focused on children, young people and self-organised forms of movement.
