Blåbyhallen protects a 100-by-64-metre football pitch from Vesterålen's weather beneath a roof about 25 metres high. Four-way division lets schools and clubs share the artificial turf, while a running lane and long-jump pit give athletics a permanent place along one side. Grandstands, changing rooms and a large canteen support matches, and the floor also converts for exhibitions, gymnastics and other major events.
