About · Kjemsåsen Alpinsenter
The operational area offers roughly 220 metres of vertical drop across varied pistes, including a gentler family run and terrain-park features. Mosjøen Slalåmklubb runs the centre on a volunteer basis, continuing a local alpine tradition that began at the present site in 1980. The lift to Markåsen's 550-metre summit has been closed since 2015, so its upper routes are not prepared as part of normal skiing.
