Water has carved a sequence of deep and shallow basins into the bedrock of the Folda, with natural chutes and places to jump. Some pools suit gentle paddling while other sections are deep and forceful, and the walk in follows a marked bathing path from the road. River flow can change suddenly because the watercourse is regulated, so swimming is entirely at personal risk.
