Opened in 2018, the arena serves as both a major court venue and Ørland's large indoor gathering room. The 3,200-square-metre exhibition floor has vehicle access, while concerts can combine around 1,000 floor chairs with the fixed stand. Conference, trade-fair and banquet layouts—including round-table seating for about 1,000—make it far more adaptable than a conventional school hall.
